The Academy of Teaching is closely tied to several of Ohio State’s most prestigious honors for educational excellence.
Recipients of both the Alumni Award for Distinguished Teaching and the Provost’s Award for Distinguished Teaching by a Lecturer are automatically inducted into the Academy, joining a community of faculty recognized for exceptional commitment to student learning. The Founder's Award, in contrast, celebrates individuals or groups whose contributions strengthen and advance the Academy’s mission.
